Manikgad

Manikgad is a hill fort located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, near the town of Panvel. It stands at an elevation of approximately 1,878 feet (572 meters). The fort was strategically positioned to monitor the trade route that connected the Deccan Plateau to coastal ports.
